The attention to detail is wonderful. We love the copper sink mixer and black sink, the blue tiled new bathroom with black fittings, the combustion stove, the views from the two main bedrooms, the kids bedroom with TV and beanbags, the gabion wall and fire pit in the back yard, and many other fabulous features. The living area and bedrooms enjoy views to the winter playground of many whales (between May and October). Sit in front of a cosy wood fire and watch the whales frolic. Located at the quiet end of Newell Avenue, you can walk to the beach in under two minutes. The property has all modern comforts including split system air conditioning, brand new kitchen with dishwasher, gas stove, instant gas hot water, two big screen Tvs, NBN WiFi Internet, Netflix and combustion stove. The rear yard is fully enclosed for pets and kids. There is an undercover verandah, an outdoor shower, gas BBQ and the big firepit. There are double gates to the side of the house if you wish to park your car and boat. Alternatively, you can park in the long driveway. The property sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms. The configuration is: Bedroom 1 – 1 Queen bed Bedroom 2 – 1 Queen bed Bedroom 3 – 1 Bunk bed (sleeps two people) The beds will be freshly made for guest arrival with sheets, pillowcases and quilt covers. Bath towels, mats, hand towels and tea towels are all supplied. In addition to the secure fencing, there is lawn in the back yard for your pets to enjoy. The gap under the gate at 148N is approx 5cm. The yard is fully fenced. There is an undercover area for the dog and a doggy door for small dogs that leads into the bathroom laundry area that has doors that can be closed. Like all pet let properties, your well behaved pets are very welcome inside!

Best Beach, Walks & Parks Bird hide Bird Hide, Goolwa – far end of Barrage Rd, past Bristow-Smith Ave. Birds to see include Caspian and Crested Tern, Great Crested Grebe, Eurasian Coot, Comorants, Raptors and Pelicans. Bristow Smith Reserve Nature Playspace “Nature Playspace” Bristow Smith Reserve, Goolwa – located on the river, its features nclude a wooden climbing boat, logs, ropes, tunnels, swings sculptures and a carved tree! Popular with adults and kids alike. Head to Barrage Rd, Goolwa South. Encounter Wetlands A lovely walk particular in windy conditions as its far more sheltered than the beach. Located at Matthew Flinders Drive (on the other side of Tabernacle Road) this reserve has shelters and a walking path to enjoy this natural haven. Encounter Wetlands is an attractive parkland area that utilises the natural wetlands of Encounter Bay. Esplanade Nothing beats walking along the ocean – there is a sealed path that takes you all the way from The Bluff (at the far end of Franklin parade) to Goolwa (passing through Victor Harbor, Hayborough, Port Elliot and Middleton). There are doggy bag spots along the way Horseshoe Bay Iconic, picturesque bay & popular diving spot known for its coral reefs & variety of sea life. John Crompton Reserve John W Crompton Reserve – corner of Tabernacle and Nicholas Boudain, a lovely park with play equipment, gardens and a beach on the lake. Great for small and big kids alike. Kent Reserve Located at the Victor Harbor end of Franklin Pde, this large park has a small basketball court, adult gym equipment, BBQ facilities, shelters and toilets Lakala Reserve Pt. Elliot This very popular reserve features two large ponds where you can relax and enjoy the wildlife. It is a perfect picnic spot with BBQ facilities where the kids can run around and play in the playground.
