Just 400 metres from Mooloolaba Beach, Headland Tropicana Resort offers self-contained accommodation with full kitchen and laundry facilities. The property features an outdoor lagoon pool, an indoor heated pool with a spa (heated pool temperature, not a Jacuzzi), a half-sized tennis court and a sauna room. Free high-speed WiFi is available in every apartment. Accessible by stairs, all apartments feature a balcony and some also feature ocean views. The spacious lounge area offers a DVD player and a flat-screen Smart TV. Guests can prepare simple meals in the kitchen, which is equipped with an oven, a fridge and a stove. On good days, guests can enjoy a barbecue in a tropical landscaped garden setting. The staff at the tour desk can assist with arranging travel arrangements. Resort Headland Tropicana is 800 metres from the Underwater World and a 15-minute drive from Sunshine Coast Airport. It is 4.3 km from Headland Golf Club and a 25-minute drive from Australia Zoo.

To the north of Alexandra Headland is Maroochydore with Mooloolaba to the south. Situated in a magnificent coastal area and featuring a large patrolled surf beach, Alexandra Headland is popular amongst families and surfers. Attractive parkland backs the beautiful beach at Alexandra Headland with great viewing areas and is ideal for picnics or a picturesque coastal walk. Alexandra Headland is home to Alex Surf Club and a large skate boarding park. For the keen fisherman you’ll find deep sea / reef charters at nearby Mooloolaba Wharf or if you prefer, stay on land and fish along the local surf beaches and rivers. Local shops can be found at Alexandra Headland, although it is just a short distance from the Sunshine Plaza Shopping Centre in Maroochydore and the magnificent shopping boutiques and cafe’s in Mooloolaba. Just one hour drive north of Brisbane’s international & domestic airports via the Bruce Highway and Sunshine Motorway. Virgin Blue and Jetstar fly into Maroochydore Airport which is only a 15 minute drive from our Resort. Let us arrange your Bus, Limo, Taxi and Shuttle pick -up and drop-off.
