Hounds Run is the representation of a partnership between Lucy and Hadyn, a love of wine, the country and a pair of adorable hounds. The Tiny House was born from the beauty of the property and a desire to share that beauty with guests. Hadyn and Lucy wish to be a sanctuary where guests can escape the chaos of everyday life and immerse themselves in the serenity of nature. Through sustainable and off-grid practices, they aim to minimize their ecological footprint and promote the preservation of our natural resources. With a commitment to positivity and exploration, they encourage their visitors to embrace new perspectives and explore the Grampians region.

This historically rich wine making region has long been the home of Best’s Wines and Seppelt Wines both established in the 1860's. However the town now hosts several other award winning wineries and cellar doors with Grampians Estate and Miners Ridge. Plus the Great Western Hotel boasts the largest wine list in the region, stocking many local small producers such as our sister wine label Black and Ginger Wines.
A new Great Western cultural and historical trail is due for completion by the middle of 2024 offering visitors the opportunity to explore the town by foot or by cycling with some sections accessible with a car. Further afield there are many attractions, including the spectacular Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park, Halls Gap Zoo, the Silo Art Trail, Art Galleries, fine food and so much more.
