Kings Cottage, circa 1886 has been extensively renovated to offer the discerning traveller comfortable, quiet and elegant accommodation just a short stroll from the centre of Uralla with its shops, cafes, restaurants, two hotels and a local brewery. Easily accessible by road, rail or air, Uralla lies mid way between Sydney and Brisbane on the New England Highway. Enjoy a self catered stay with full kitchen facilities, dishwasher, microwave, cooktop and oven, full-size fridge, kitchenware and laundry. Free Wi-Fi access, basic breakfast provisions and views of the spacious garden. A TV, DVD player and radios are provided for your entertainment. The Cottage has central heating throughout for those chilly nights in the New England Tablelands. Each bedroom features a period gas fire as does the bathroom. Fans are also provided in each bedroom for the warmer months. Soak up the sun in the north facing sunroom during the day where you can enjoy your meals, a coffee or tea. A wood burning combustion stove provides ambience for those romantic evenings together. The private bathroom features free-standing bath and a separate walk-in shower. Enjoy a touch of luxury

Kings Cottage is located within a 5 minute stroll to the town centre. It features on the Uralla Heritage walk and is adjacent to Alma Park with it's beautiful deciduous trees, picnic areas and children's playground. McCrossin's Mill Museum is a must see attraction as is the local boutique New England Brewery. Explore the amazing gorges along Waterfall Way from Armidale, as well as Gostwyck Chapel, DRG's triple story shearing shed just a short 10 minute drive from the centre of Uralla. Visit Uralla's Information Centre on Bridge Street, next to Captain Thunderbolt's statue, to discover more local attractions such as the town's Heritage Walk where you will find a guide to the history and charm of the town's historic buildings and homes. What about a return day trip by train to Willow Tree to experience a delicious lunch at Graze Restaurant.
