The neighbourhood of Torquay is a very quiet area, and the apartment is located on a side street adjacent to The Esplanade. The Esplanade is approximately 17 kilometres long, and runs from one end of Hervey Bay to the other. The majority of The Esplanade has a well maintained, wide, paved footpath running along the stunning foreshore, & allows for walking, running & cycling. There are many local markets to visit - for all of your fruit & veg, craft & souvenir needs. The apartment is centrally located for all Whale Watching & K'Gari tours courtesy bus transfers. You can easily hop on a local bus with the bus stop being just 1 minute walk from the apartment. Rental scooters are located on The Esplanade at various locations within walking distance of the apartment. There is plenty of free street parking for visitors, a second car, or perhaps a boat, trailer or jetski.
