Delightful two bedroom, fully equipped cottage with all the home comforts plus a lovely garden in a peaceful private setting. Newly renovated bathroom, walk in shower and heated floor. Plus sofa bed in living room.
Close to Leura cafe's, shops, restaurants and the railway station.
Lavender Cottage is a charming, cozy hideaway in unspoilt bushland. Snuggle up in front of the log effect gas fire. Enjoy music / vinyl records, home library, board games or go outside to the rustic hardwood table or the covered day bed.
The cottage is our holiday home. We open it to guest to enjoy Leura and the beautiful Blue Mountains. My wife Kay and I are semi retired and while we do not live at the cottage we visit regularly. I am a keen bush walker and can even walk directly on trails from the cottage to the spectacular Leura cascades.
As well as information about the cottage feel free to message me about walks. local shops, cafes, restaurants and other events in the mountains. We will respond promptly to guest communications through the booking portal.
Lavender Cottage is located at the end of a quiet street nestled in picturesque bushland. In spring the garden has a beautiful display of flowers. The cottage is surrounded on three sides by tree ferns, blue gums, scotch pines and other species.
Leura Mall is 600m away. There you can visit the eclectic shops and the local cafe's / restaurants. Katoomba is 2.5km away / 5 mins in the car. Katoomba is a historic small town with lots of different food and entertainment options. It is the gateway to the spectacular Three Sisters National Park lookout and Scenic Railway complex.
