Built in the 1930s, Manor Hotel is located in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD (Central Business District). It features historic architecture and air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, a flat-screen TV and DVD player. Guests enjoy free continental breakfast. The refurbished Manor Apartment Hotel is just 300 metres from Queen Street Mall and 5 minutes’ walk from Brisbane River. The Botanical Gardens and the Treasury Casino are both a 10-minute walk away. Almost directly opposite The Manor is the very hip Gresham wine bar, awarded Australia's No 1 wine bar- definitely worth a visit before or after dinner one night. Being on the fringe of the commercial precinct of the city centre there is considerable buzz outside during the day and the hundred of food outlets feeding the office workers offer a huge range of international inexpensive food options. At night the offices are empty and the Manor is left in a very peaceful environment. However, just 100 m away are the dozens of restaurants and bars that entertain at night.
