For those who wish to venture further afield, it is an ideal home base to explore what the Limestone Coast region has to offer. It is also a handy stopover for interstate travellers and corporates working in the area. It is Pet friendly and has the option by way of a sofa bed to accommodate two couples or a family with two young children or one teenager. All linen is provided free and the property has a BBQ. The property is on rainwater. Bordertown Accommodation is the only properties Star Rated, currently 4 Star and there is no other accommodation in Bordertown Rated and that is why we are Number 1 and we are proud of it. Ken is a retired Bank manager and Sandra spent 10 years as a Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator in the local hospital before resigning to take over managing their first B&B, Haven on Haynes. This was the first B&B established in Bordertown and is rated Number 1 in Bordertown and highly rated on Trip Advisor, Google and Airbnb. When it became difficult to look after all our requests for accommodation, the decision was taken to introduce Mapperley B&B as a second option and this has been a remarkable success story. Ken enjoys golf and historic motor vehicle, preferably early model Ford Mustangs and Sandra teaches Papertole in her spare time. We have a caravan and love trekking off when we get the chance which is not very often due to the business activity.

The B&B is situated 3 kms from Bordertown on the road to the local golf course and nowhere near the main highway. It is on a farm and is a self-contained cottage in close proximity to the main farmhouse. It has one bedroom and the cottage has all facilities, landscaped gardens with plenty of room to meander about and outside dining as an option during the warmer part of the year.
