Welcome to Coragulac House Cottages, the Cottages are located on the Grounds of Coragulac House, a 30 room Blue stone homestead built in 1873. Both Cottages are fully equipped self contained apartments and are completely private and secure with stunning views of the landscape, you can be assured of a peaceful and relaxing stay, taking in all that country life has to offer. You are welcome to bring along your pets which can be accommodated in Monash Cottage (two bedroom house)

Coragulac House Cottages are situated on the grounds of the historic Coragulac House built in 1873 on 140 acres, with two accommodation options available Maids Quarters (Deluxe Apartment) located in the south wing of the Homestead or our Pet Friendly Monash Cottage (two bedroom house) located to the rear of the homestead adjacent to the original Coach House and Stables, quite and peaceful. The cottages are private with accommodation for up to 4 persons, with separate living area, two bedrooms and separate bathroom and toilet. Private and secure with ample parking, shaded grounds and exceptional views of the landscape The Cottages are on a working Farm with livestock, friendly cows, donkeys and goats. The cottages are located at the base of Red Rock Scenic Lookout, it is a lovely walk up to the lookout to see 360 degree views of the local area, the views are amazing. Red Rock Winery is also a short distance away.

Neighbourhood information

Coragulac and Alvie are littered with dormant volcano's, creating a unique landscape of hills and lakes. Lake Corangamite is Australia's largest inland lake with a circumference of 168 kms located just behind Red Rock Scenic Lookout. Cororooke township is 2 minutes from Coragulac has a general store which provides all the necessities including a bottle shop for a nice drop of vino and the Cororooke Theatre and Art Gallery is also worth a look. Coragulac House is only 12 minutes for the centre of Colac, Coragulac Cottages are well located for short or longer stays.
