Our home is a large family dwelling set on a half-acre that needs to have some more people around. The rooms that we rent out are part of our home with their own amenities, including TV"s in all rooms but can be separated by closing a door. Living areas including kitchen, dinning, laundry and all outdoors are available to guests. The accommodation includes a Continental breakfast, I.e. cereal, fruit, toast, tea, coffee and juice. So, for a relaxing time in a homely, friendly atmosphere, come and stay with us in our spacious home.

Eva and I are "down to earth" people, country folk, who have moved to the outer city (Perth hills West Australia) in recent years. We don't travel much but like to entertain and enjoy other company from elsewhere. Eva is an avid gardener and there is a half-acre to go wild in, with a good lawned area and bushland settings to explore. Eva's bookshelf is full of cooking books and a few years ago we had an "Asian Takeaway" serving some 23 different dishes. Eva's music is anything from the 60"s to the 90's. I am still working in the Pilbara region, mining, so am not home all the time. I am an active member of the Mundaring Rotary and enjoy meeting and chatting with the people I come in contact with. My bookshelf is stacked with "Clive Cussler, Wilbur Smith, Brice Courtney and Conn Iggulden". My music ranges from Slim Dusty (country) to James last, Percy Faith and Mantovani.

Mundaring is located in the hills east of Perth,Western Australia. We have many and diverse attractions including The Mundaring Weir which was built in the 1800's to supply the Kalgoorlie Gold Fields with a sustainable water supply. The area is peppered with vintage Hotels, Cellars, Restaurants, Lakes, Trails and Walks. It is the starting point for the Munda-Biddi and Bibbulmun tracks which run all the way to Albany in the south of the state, some 1000 kms. The Weir Hotel has regular outdoor entertainment and the Kookaburra Cinema is also outdoors (summer time). The Mundaring Markets are held on the second Sunday of each month, run by the Mundaring Rotary club. Just to name a few of our attractions.
