With the iconic NUT as its backdrop and stunning views across the bay, our cottage, Number 10, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a quieter pace of life. We have 2 ensuite rooms, our King, with full bay views plus a Queen with partial views. This makes it a great pace for 2 couples travelling together as as individual couples. Perfectly situated from all amenities with off street parking, Number 10 is a short stroll to cafes, restaurants, beaches and other attractions that Stanley has to offer.
I have travelled extensively world wide and love meeting new people. After retirement, my husband, Jeremy, dog, Charlie, cat, Leo and I moved to the lovely seaside village of Stanley. From here we explore the wonders of Tasmania and love walking & touring.
An historic walk of Stanley starts just across the road from our cottage. This walk takes you past the prey cottages and historic buildings which now house cafes, art galleries and wine bars. The NUT, an ancient volcanic plug is a short walk from our cottage. Once at the top you get wonderful views over the surrounding bays. Restaurants pubs and cafes are just a short walk from our cottage and historic Highfield House about a 5 minute drive.
