Nunyara Retreat offers an escape to the bush but easily accessible to both the Gold Coast and Brisbane which are both only 40 minutes away. The large space offers relaxation and high quality in a quiet setting with amazing views towards Tamborine Mountain set on 11 acres. We are pet friendly! There are two double bedrooms, a Cinema room, a large Lounge/Diner, Kitchen, Bathroom and a deck where you can relax with a BBQ and take in the views. We can accommodate a maximum of 6 people but it should be noted that there are only 2 permanent double beds. We can provide mattresses and temporary bedding in the media room for the larger groups. PLEASE NOTE: Due to decking and steep hillsides, Nunyara Retreat is not recommended for young children who cannot be supervised.

We enjoy sharing the beautiful property that is Nunyara. We live on the upper two floors with our two friendly dogs, Jules and Mojo. We are available throughout your stay but unless you need us, you wouldn't know we are there!

Perched on a hillside on a quiet no through road, Nunyara Retreat is in the bush yet only a few km from civilization. Our rainforest overlooks the Albert River with spectacular southerly views towards Tamborine Mountain and Springbrook National Park. The nearest town is 10km away (Beenleigh) where there are frequent bus and train services to Brisbane CBD, Brisbane Airport and The Gold Coast. The M1 Pacific highway Exit 38) is 7km away. From here, you can reach Brisbane CBD or Surfers Paradise in about 40 minutes. The Gold Coast theme parks are even closer, being only 25 minutes away. That said, you would never believe it when you are here and you sit under the stars. There is a dedicated carport for guests which can accomodate two large cars. It is important to know that having use of a car is important as there is no local public transport in our vicinity.
