Located directly opposite the Myall River, Boathouse Resort offers self-contained accommodation with a spa bath, walk-in showers and a private balcony offering river views. It features a solar-heated swimming pool with a beach for children and a fitness centre. All air-conditioned apartments include a fully-equipped kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator. Each apartment has a spacious seating area with a DVD player and a CD player. Boathouse Resort is located in the heart of Tea Gardens, 5 minutes’ drive from the Koala Reserve and Hawks Nest Golf Club. Jimmys Beach Reserve is an 8-minute drive away. It is a short walk from local restaurants and takeaway shops. A supermarket is also nearby the resort. Guests can relax in the Japanese sauna, or enjoy a meal in the barbecue area. The tour desk can recommend local attractions and help guests with travel arrangements.

Located on the Myall River in the beautiful coastal town of Tea Gardens, just 2 hours north of Sydney The Boathouse Resort Tea Gardens features luxury 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments with walk in showers The whole family will enjoy relaxing by our picturesque solar heated lap pool with sandy beach for little kids.

Neighbourhood information

Tea Gardens is located on the New South Wales coast, about 45 minutes drive north of Newcastle, and 2.5 hours north of Sydney. Tea Gardens is a small, quiet township, with a population of almost 3,000. Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest are separated by the Singing Bridge over the Myall River and are home to several businesses and amenities including a medical centre, Coles supermarket, pharmacies, bakeries, craft and gift stores, fishing stores, and restaurants and cafes among others. Kids activities: pool, fishing, beach, lake, surfing, sand dunes, ferry, movies, golf, tennis, push bikes, Safety: Very safe, small population- majority are retirees and families. Christmas time brings lots of holiday makers.
