Ocean View Apartments is centrally located facing the ocean on Gaze road. 2 minutes walk to the supermarket, Tourist office and restaurant (CI Noodle House) 5 minutes to the Post Office or Bosun's Tavern, gift fishing and dive shops. 2 minutes further is flying fish cove Complimentary bicycles and snorkeling gear is available to guests from our hire service. Cycle to the grotto for a swim if the swell is in at the cove. Weather permitting hire a poly-carbonate clear 2 person kayak for a perfect view of marine life. Sit on your patio for an uninterrupted view of the sunset
Born in the North of England I have traveled extensively - Lived in New England New York Sydney Perth and now Christmas Island - I still spend 3 months of Perth's summer on a House Boat on the Indian Ocean. On island 10 years I can provide as much or little information as requested. Ask to drop into territory lookout on the way from the airport for a brief Island orientation if the road is open!. Join the locals for sunset drinks or retire early for those 2.30 am starts to watch the crab migration. I love to listen to other travelers stories over a G & T. Remember everyone will say hello on Christmas Island, Wave at a passing driver. It's just a beautiful and friendly Island - Welcome
