Hello and welcome to Panama, the Land of our dreams! I'm delighted to have you as our guest. My name is Verena, and I am passionate about gardening and Australia's amazing nature and wildlife. I care deeply for our planet and the environment, and I strive to live a sustainable lifestyle. With a background as a German master florist, I love to create with natural materials and embrace natural living. My husband, a skilled carpenter, has taken great care with an eye for detail in building our completely off-grid, tank water dream house over the last 11 years. Our children were accepted at a music high school in Melbourne, and we moved to support their passion to become a professional concert pianist and a drummer. Karen, her family, and their two dogs are now living on the property and maintaining the guest apartment. You can reach out to her as well as me if you have any concerns or questions. Welcome to our beautiful neighborhood! Our area offers stunning natural settings with mountain views, abundant bird life, and old farmlands with cow paddocks. You'll also find reforesting programs, donkeys, and diverse wildlife. The sunrises, sunsets, rainbows, and moonlit night sky will make you fall in love with this land. Fall asleep to the sound of crickets and wake up to bird songs all around. We are approximately 2.6 km from the Bellingen town center, where you can enjoy some amazing local cafes and restaurants. Take a 10 km drive to explore the beautiful swimming holes at Glennifer, visit the closest beach and boardwalk in Urunga just 17 km away, or explore the rain forest up the mountain in Dorrigo National Park.
