Hindmarsh Island is a island across from the historic waterport town of Goolwa that is an inland river island situated where the mighty Murray Rive meets the sea & right on the doorstep of the Coorong National Park. Pelicans Rest is located on the south eastern side, a 10-12 minute drive from Goolwa an the edge of the Lawri National Park and on the water across from Mundoo Island. Sugars Beach and the famous Coorong Cafe are a 10 minute walk away along with the spectacular view of the Muray Mouth.
