Hi, I am Alison and with my husband, Peter, are really passionate about Tasmania. We love this island and providing a home away from home for our guests. We love travelling too and generally head off each year. This year we were in Turkey for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding and then on to Croatia and the Greek Islands. We live in Acton Park on Hobart's eastern shore on a 5 acre property with our horses and 2 golden retrievers, Stella and Reuben. I compete in dressage and we both play golf and love biking down to the beach at Lauderdale around the trails with the dogs. Life is pretty good! We have our award winning townhouse, "Reflections on the Bay" and have just opened our gorgeous 2 bedroom apartment, "The Lookout". Both properties are in beautiful Sandy Bay and very convenient to everything in Hobart.

Reflections on the Bay is a very special property as all our guests have found. Our priority is that our guests feel at home here and really enjoy their holiday in Hobart. The house is warm and sunny with wonderful views of the Derwent River. It has been carefully furnished so you will have everything you require.There is plenty of parking on site and we have 4 bikes for your use on the bike track along the riverfront to the beaches and shops, or all the way to MONA. It is only a 30 minute walk to Salamanca and the city or a 5 minute drive. The bus is at the bottom of Waimea Ave, along Sandy Bay Rd. The location is ideal.

Sandy Bay is arguably Hobart's loveliest residential area, being right on the river, sunny and close to the centre. Waimea Avenue is full of lovely homes and our guests really enjoy walking in the local area. The bike track along Sandy Bay Rd is popular, as are the beaches and local cafes. Lipscombe Larder is only a short walk away for your supplies and Sandy Bay Shopping centre has everything you will need- supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, boutiques, pharmacies, doctors, hotels. Wrest Point is only a short walk away with it's lovely restaurants and entertainment. It is so relaxing to come home to Reflections on the Bay are a day exploring Hobart and surrounds and enjoy the views of the river.
