We are Jen and Jess and we have owned Beechworth Short Stays since mid 2020 (where we did a LOT of learning during that difficult season in our lives!). Granite Cottage - Relax in beautiful and historic Beechworth, backing onto the Gorge and farmland, while still only blocks from the Main Street. This unique heritage retreat built in 1860 offers comfortable modern features in the heart of Beechworth. Granite Cottage is on two acres in a peaceful and quiet location, a short stroll from the main street and only steps from the Gorge with a plethora of walking and riding trails. It is close to restaurants and cafes, including two breweries, wine bars, boutique shops, Lake Sambell and the new Epic mountain bike trail. Granite Cottage is perfectly situated to explore all that Beechworth and the surrounding high country has to offer. Through split levels (please be aware there are many different levels due to the age of the original home), Granite Cottage offers two queen beds and sleeps four with the option of a double sofa bed if you have a extra guests. Please enquire if you would like use of the sofa bed. One bedroom is downstairs the other is in the loft area upstairs. The sofa bed is located downstairs in a separate sitting room. There is a separate lounge dining located downstairs. Three outdoor dining areas and a fully fenced yard offer the opportunity to relax amongst the spacious tranquil garden with your pet. A wonderful area for cycling - Granite Cottage also offers storage especially for your biking equipment. For a unique, comfortable and relaxing break - this is the place for you. The space: The house includes a modern kitchen with a Breville Oracle coffee machine and local coffee beans, and one bathroom with a spa bath, shower and separate toilet.
