We live in our own separate and self-contained part of the house and are on hand if needed. Our lovely, tranquil 2-acre property in Healesville has a relaxing country feel even though we are just a short stroll into town. Inspired by the gracious Federation era, our guest house offers four beautiful suites with ensuites, including a relaxing spa bath and separate shower. Each suite has a flat screen tv with streaming, comfortable armchairs, and its own heating and cooling system. The large verandah overlooks the garden with beautiful views of Mount Riddell. A continental breakfast is included with the option of self-cooked bacon and eggs. Special features include a large patio and deck a swim spa, a hydrotherapy hot spa and sauna. You have shared access with other guests to the front balcony, well-being deck, lounge room (with cosy fire in the winter), dining room, sunroom, firepit and garden. There are books, jigsaw puzzles, magazines, books and games to enjoy. Unsuitable for children.
We love welcoming guests to our home and sharing tips and ideas about what to do in the local area. We live in our own separate and self-contained part of the house and are on hand if needed. We enjoy meeting people and having a chat if wanted. Archie our small, friendly dog, loves to greet guests and is quite the social butterfly :-) On a personal note, we're pretty easy going, and love getting out and about exploring different places. We are both keen travellers and have done our fair share of it in Australia and overseas - whether backpacking, camping, or an occasional splurge on 5-star resorts! Our motto is "strangers are friends you haven't met yet!" Wishing you happy travels and looking forward to meeting you soon :-) Bronnie and Neil :-)
Just over an hour's drive from Melbourne, Healesville is located in the beautiful Yarra Valley. It is a very pretty, historical town with a tree-lined main street full of fabulous specialty shops, cafe's, eateries, art galleries, wineries and licensed premises. The town is surrounded by mountains, forests and rolling hills dotted with wineries (over 80) many with superb restaurants. Healesville is also home to the famous Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary.
