Rustic Sunflower 🌻 is a large Queensland style house of 224 Square meters located on 37 acres of land near the Brisbane River, surrounded by mountains and trees . The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, very close to nature. The house was built in 1900 but well maintained and has a big verandah and separate bathroom and kitchen. We offer a large Deluxe Queen Room of 18 square meters. It includes a TV, air conditioner, fan, kettle, towels, bed linen, large makeup table and with usable space are offered in the homestay. The property has an outdoor dining area and has a garden view. You can travel to both the capital city of Brisbane, a distance of only 31 kilometers or 38 minutes, or the town of Ipswich, Queensland's second oldest town, a distance of only 11 kilometers or 14 minutes, with large shopping centers that are fully equipped with all the conveniences. Indooroopilly and Toowong are only 23-26 kilometers away, 27-30 minutes. If you want panoramic views of Brisbane, with a restaurant on the mountain, you can travel to Mt Cootha just 29 kilometers or 33 minutes. If you like nature and animals, the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary allows you to feed your Kangaroos, Emus and cuddle koalas. It is only 24 kilometers or 26 minutes away.

Mark loves collecting. He enjoys collecting antiques and model cars especially American cars of the 50s, 60s and 70s. Jude was a registered nurse in Thailand and worked as an Activities Officer, Personal Carer and Lifestyle Assistant. Both Mark and Jude are animal lovers. We have a friendly 14-year-old Border Collie named Panda, 5 year-old Mix German Shepherd and a 4-year-old Cat named Suki. What else do we love? We both love travelling. We have travelled to Europe, America, Asia, Pacific islands and most of Australia by plane, car, train and cruise. We stay in hotels, hostels, Airbnb, and many more. This makes us want to create rooms that meet the needs of tourists who stay with us. The important thing is that it is clean, beautiful, has enough usable space and complete amenities

Mount Crosby is a historic village established in the 1890s as a water supply source for Brisbane. There is 200 acre bush land reserve 200m away and a convenience store and bowls club within walking distance. The Riverside parks of Kookaburra Park and College's crossing are only a short drive away and Lake Manchester, 15 minutes away, offers many bushwalking and mountain bike trails. There is another convenience shopping centre with a grocer, bakery, Pizza shop and petrol plus a golf club a couple of minutes drive away at Karana Downs. A larger shopping centre at Karalee Village village, is just a 5 minute drive away with a Tavern, Coles, Woolworths, McDonalds, KFC, and many other takeaways, shops and services. Ipswich, a little further away at 14 minutes, has many restaurants and shopping areas and a free zoo at the Queen's Park Botanic Gardens.
