Sandy Hollow Tourist Retreat has gone under new management by a local Sandy Hollow family in March 2023. They have lived in the area over 4 generations and are passionate about making guests feel welcomed into Sandy Hollow

Sandy Hollow Tourist Retreat is a great place to stay to explore the Goulburn River and Wollemi National Parks, the Manobalai Nature reserve, wineries, local farms and villages, or for cycling, bush walking, birds watching or touring the wider region of the Upper Hunter. It can also be a haven from work, a great place for family and friends gathering or just for a quick stop over! There again you might just prefer to relax beside our spacious pool with a good book or you might enjoy to blend yourself with bush and abundant species of birds around you!

Sandy Hollow is a quiet little town on the Golden Highway about 1/2 way between Dubbo and Newcastle. The town has a great hotel across the road offering a family friendly and welcoming atmosphere, there is a brilliant coffee shop across the road that opens nice and early for the early risers! The Service station next door offers fuel, snack and even an Australian Post outlet.
