This serene neighbourhood is known for having the most stunning sunsets, gorgeous waterways, and calm swimming beaches on offer. With plenty of delicious dining options and access to the surrounding Port Stephens area, Boat Harbour is an excellent location for some R&R amongst gorgeous vistas. Head to Nelson Bay for a day of fun. As the largest town in the Port Stephens region, Nelson Bay is a vibrant and lively seaside escape for families and tourists alike. With plenty of fun activities and experiences on offer, including dolphin watching cruises departing from the Marina all year-round and whale watching cruises from May to November. Cycling the Bartlett bikeway is a fantastic way to explore the stunning waterfront, stretching for 5 kilometres and finishing up near the heritage-listed Nelson Head lighthouse, built in 1875. Just a 2.5-hour drive north from Sydney and 34 kilometres from Newcastle Airport, Boat Harbour is an absolute must-do when it comes to seaside escapes.
