Our apartment is fully self contained and on the ground floor of our new home built in December 2020. It has has a separate entrance, front courtyard with BBQ, table chairs with ocean views to enjoy. It has a modern kitchen with all facilities and a lounge / dining room. It has a Queen size sofa bed in the lounge area making it ideal for 2 couples. A 250 meters stroll down the hill finds our local beach "Marmion Pool" and 10 minutes the other direction along the coast is Sorrento Beach and Cafe. Another 5 minutes stroll and you are at Hillarys Boat Harbour with its beach area, many bars, restaurants, shops, Aqua Underwater Aquarium and childrens activities.
Garry has been hosting guests on this site (previously Sorrento Bluewater Cottage) for over 25 years and have now built a new home which includes "Sorrento Bluewater Apartment" for our many guests we have hosted previously. I love the opportunity to show off our great city and local beach culture to international and interstate visitors as well as locals. I am retired, love the ocean, golf and my grand children now give me much joy.
Sorrento is an older coastal suburb which now host many new and affluent homes. Our beautiful beaches are a few hundred metres away along with numerous restaurants, cafes and bars within two kms. We are a 20 minutes drive to the city and 35 minutes to the airport and have public bus transport 100 meters from the door which connects with the train stations The massive Karrinyup Shopping Centre is 8 mins drive away along with Whitfords and Warwick Shopping Centres and our local Marmion shops are 2 mins away. Hammersley Golf course is a great public course if you are a golfer and has recently undergone a massive renovation with all new driving area, bar and restaurant etc. It is 5 mins drive away.
