Hi, I am Jenny! Myself and my young family made the Byron shire our home in January 2020, after emigrating from the UK and we LOVE it. Living locally means I can be a 'hands on' host if needed and can offer lots of great tips for exploring the local area. We love to travel and love the great outdoors, especially the Ocean. Our love for the sea has taken us all over the world as Scuba diving Instructors and we are so blessed to have had those experiences. I love to go for long runs, do Yoga with my friends and am currently learning to surf along with my 3 children! I have over 5 years of experience in property management and hosting, and just recently set up my own hosting business in the area - Ocean Vibes Property Management. My Partner is the local handyman and plumber and so he is on hand if any issues arise during your stay. Kookaburras is a beautifully appointed, NEWLY renovated FAMILY HOME, situated on a leafy peaceful street in the Idyllic village of South Golden Beach, North Byron. With lots of natural light, this bright and airy house is a perfect mix of comfort and style. Can sleep up to 7 guests over 3 bedrooms. Only a 9 minute stroll to the pristine beach & skatepark. DOG FRIENDLY with a fully fenced private garden and covered outdoor relaxation area. Kookaburras space is set over just the one level. Our spacious open plan living area has a large sofa, comfy hanging egg chair, SMART TV, and dining area. There is direct access to the lovely outside space with plenty of seating. The delightful kitchen is fully equipped with a Nespresso machine, dishwasher, 4 ring cooktop, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, air fryer and large fridge freezer. Along with a breakfast bar. The Master Queen bedroom has an ensuite shower room with a lovely bathtub. Built in wardrobes, ceiling fan and access to the outside space. Space to fit a travel cot if required. The 2nd Queen bedroom is spacious enough and has a mirrored wardrobe and drawers. The 3rd bedroom has a bunkbed

Enjoy the wonderful surroundings of North Ocean shores/South Golden Beach. Mrs Birdy coffee shop, skate park and community centre are a 10 minute stroll. Marshalls Creek is only a short bike ride away and is great for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding - you can take it all the way to Brunswick Heads if you wish! A beautiful paddle. A great part of the creek is where you will conveniently find Yum Yum Café and shop, open everyday. Ocean shores shopping centre is a 7 minute drive away and the picturesque village of Brunswick Heads is a mere 10 minutes. Kookaburras is a 25 min drive from Coolangatta airport, 20 mins to Byron Bay A car is a ‘must’ for exploring this diverse and beautiful area. Bikes are a great way to access the beach and the local coffee shops and parks.
