Property information

Delightful Stone cottage situated on the picturesque McMillan Straight with amazing views across the lake and the majestic mountains in the distance. The many restaurants and cafes of Paynesville are within walking distance of the cottage. Alternatively, you may prefer to sit at your own coffee bar and enjoy the water view, watching the boats go by. We are sometimes visited by some of the 65 dolphins that live in the Gippsland lakes, playing in the water and around your jetty. This unique property is tastefully decorated throughout with many interesting features, including beautiful art deco doors leading out to your private BBQ area overlooking the local wildlife. Access to Raymond Island is by Ferry only. Tickets are purchased when boarding via eftpos for a Car/Van/Ute, free to walk on. The ferry leaves every 20 minutes, with the final departure from Paynesville at 11:15 pm on weekdays and 12:15 am on the weekend.
