A modest, comfortable two bedroom home with all the essentials, plenty of parking space, and an outdoor entertainment area. It offers a great base for exploring Broken Hill and surrounds. A 10 minute stroll to the centre of town, with easy access to shopping, entertainment, and parks.
My brother Geoff and I own this little home. We live on opposite sides of the country but never forget our home town in outback Australia. We get back there as often as we can, but opening our home to others wanting to explore Broken Hill and surrounds makes us happy. We hope you enjoy your stay.
The house is 5 streets away from Argent Street (the main Street) and is within walking distance of the many cafes, art galleries, the tourist centre, restaurants, clubs, and tourist destinations that the city has to offer. The neighbourhood is quiet and the house offers a private and tranquil space to rest and recharge your batteries.
We are gradually rejuvenating this house, which is typical of many older Broken Hill homes. A guest recently described it as comfortable, reminding them of visiting 'grandma's house', and well that would be accurate because this home belonged to our mum. However we trust that you'll find it comfortable with the amenities you need to rest and enjoy the town. There is so much to see and do here so please make the most of your time in the Silver City and enjoying what it has to offer.
