Set in Kingscote the main town on Kangaroo Island, this home is not only wheel chair friendly but it is homely and very spacious. Room for 10 people to sleep comfortably and located just 1 km from the main town on Kangaroo Island. Walking distance to the restaurants and local shops. The home has heating and cooling. Fully equipped Kitchen, two bathrooms. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed a large disability friendly en-suite with Low level vanity and walk in wardrobe. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and the other two bedrooms have 3 single beds so two families can easily share the space whilst exploring our beautiful Island. The large open dining and lounge area has two dining room tables and chairs, one large leather black lounge and a large black leather reclining chair and one large sofa lounge. A large enclosed decked outside BBQ area with full equipped BBQ including ramps from the sliding door and accessible from the main front entrance. Laundry has a washing machine and a large chest freezer for the successful fisherman. Carport, lawns for the kids to play and plenty of room for a boat and two cars. Netflix, Stan & WiFi.

We are two local residents who live only 5 minutes away from the home so if the guests have any questions we are only a phone call and a quick trip away. Both Paul and Monique are genuine and respectable community members who are more than willing to go above and beyond to make your stay at our home both a memorable and lovely experience. We hope you enjoy our Island as much as we do ourselves. Kangaroo Island is a magical place to explore and some of the most magical experiences occur when one explores the Island with eyes wide open. Some of the most amazing geological sites are on KI and one such place is the amazing Harvey's Return. The zebra schists, twisted roots at the interface between rock and tree, shiny shells here and there, a few colourful algae and a handful of washed-up sponges just inspire and magically transcends one back to a place where it all began. Then you hear a crack or a piecing screech and your senses are once again tantalised with nature niggling at you from the bush, you spy beautiful Yellow-tailed Cockatoos, Tammar Wallabies and Kangaroo's. We promise the beauty is breathtaking and you will leave Kangaroo Island with a well nourished soul.

Our neighbours are quiet and very respectful. We would very much appreciate no loud parties or music turned up to a tone where it is offensive for the residents near by. Enjoy your stay but treat our property with respect and our neighbours will do likewise.
