Hi, I am Alison and with my husband, Peter, are really passionate about Tasmania. We love this island and providing a home away from home for our guests. We love travelling too and generally head off each year. This year we were in Turkey for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding and then on to Croatia and the Greek Islands. We live in Acton Park on Hobart's eastern shore on a 5 acre property with our horses and 2 golden retrievers, Stella and Reuben. I compete in dressage and we both play golf and love biking down to the beach at Lauderdale around the trails with the dogs. Life is pretty good! We have our award winning townhouse, "Reflections on the Bay" and have just opened our gorgeous 2 bedroom apartment, "The Lookout". Both properties are in beautiful Sandy Bay and very convenient to everything in Hobart.

"The Lookout" has just undergone a complete refurbishment with new kitchen, bathroom, floor coverings and window furnishings, which has given a fabulous fresh vibe. It is stylish and spacious with a hint of Scandinavia and plenty of light and sunshine. The highlight is the fabulous outlook over the river, city and right around to Mt Wellington and even the wooded slopes of Mt Nelson. The sunsets and city lights are spectacular. Enjoy relaxing on the balcony at the end "The Lookout" is on the slopes of Sandy Bay and very close to Salamanca and the CBD. Sandy Bay is a beautiful area of Hobart and Aotea Road is full of grand houses. There are supermarkets, pharmacies, doctors, cafes, restaurants, boutiques in Sandy Bay shopping centre, 5 minutes away. Lipscombe Larder is on Sandy Bay Rd, close by. Wrest Point Casino is 3 minutes away with its restaurants and entertainment. The Royal Yacht Club is close by, as are the lovely beaches on the river. It is an easy 7 minute drive into the city or Salamanca.
