A quiet, eco-conscious retreat tucked into the peaceful pocket of Skinners Shoot, just minutes from Byron Bay. Set on a naturally beautiful, tree-lined property, The Village Eco Stay is designed for travellers who want to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a simple, grounded kind of comfort. Our off-grid setup blends rustic charm with thoughtful touches, creating a peaceful environment ideal for couples, solo travellers, eco-enthusiasts and anyone craving a gentle escape from the noise of everyday life. Our eco-stay is semi off-grid, and we use a combination of rainwater, groundwater, and eco-friendly systems throughout the property. You’ll find: • A large communal kitchen with gas stove, seating, tea/coffee, and a full set of cookware • Two fridge/freezers (one shared, one private to the household) • A spacious shared lounge area • Two composting toilets • Two semi-outdoor showers with gas-heated hot water • A shared spa & sauna (Ice bath coming soon!) • Games, books & spaces to put your phone away and truly unwind Pets are welcome with prior approval. Please note no unneutered males. There is native wildlife, ducks, birds and neighbouring farm animals, so pets must be able to be kept restrained where needed. Additional fee to be paid on arrival. Nights are peaceful, with only gentle farm/wildlife sounds. You may occasionally hear distant music from the Arts Factory venue up the road, but overall, the property is calm and serene. Quiet hours are 9 PM – 9 AM. This is the kind of place where you slow down, breathe deeper and let nature set the pace.

Paths can get a little muddy in wet weather, all part of the off-grid charm.
