Wren's Nest is a sunny, 3 bedroom, upstairs duplex with private access in a quiet location within easy walking distance of a pristine river mouth, sparkling surf beach and beautiful water and bush walks. Recently renovated, bright and airy living area with entertainment (Smart TV with Netflix etc and DVD player with a large selection of DVD's in the living area as well as TV's with DVD players in 2 bedrooms). Also a dining area and kitchen with fridge, oven and cooktop, toaster, microwave, jug, cutlery, crockery etc and 2 balconies, 1 north and 1 south facing for different seasons (one with a BBQ). 1 bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom and shower, 1 queen size room with queen bed and bunks and 1 double room with double bed as well as one common bathroom with toilet and shower. There is also a garage downstairs loaded with complimentary fun things like push bikes, surfboards, bodyboards, fishing gear etc. for guests to use. We live downstairs and are around most of the time (although sometimes we're away traveling ourselves) and are happy to say g'day and help with any requirements. There is a lock box for guests to collect and leave keys. Please be aware that this is a quiet area. We love and respect our neighbours and would ask that you do too. This is not the place for loud music and late night parties. As there is no outdoor space other than the balconies, pets are restricted to smaller, house types. Please let us know if you're travelling with them. There are comfortable, easy access outdoor balcony's for smoking that we encourage guests to use. There is plenty of parking at the house for cars and boats, there's a bus service from Bomaderry/Nowra to Culburra Beach with a stop 300 metres from the house and regular trains from Sydney to Bomaderry.

My husband and I are in our 50s and would like to share with people the beautiful Culburra Beach and surrounding area. We have moved from Sydney to enjoy the healthy, stress free natural environment and love to use the magnificent waterways and walks that surround the house.

Culburra Beach is a small, sleepy, coastal town about 2 hours south of Sydney. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area, in particular a variety of birdlife and native marsupials. We are quite literally surrounded by waterways of different types (Crookhaven river, Curley's bay, Culburra and Warrain surf beach's, lake Wollumboola and Jervis Bay). The beaches are famous for producing surfing champions and dolphins, whales, penguins and seals are regular visitors whether you're swimming, surfing or walking on the headlands or beaches. The fishing, including crabbing and prawning is superb (an Australian record flathead was caught from the boat ramp wharf in 2015 and lake Woolumboola is famous for summer prawning) and for boaty's, Crookhaven heads is 2 minutes from the boat ramp. We have a Woolworths supermarket as well as variety of cafe's and shops in town and regular markets in the area.
