Veerle welcomes you to her bed and Breakfast with two bedrooms each with private bathroom and toilet and a wellness room. The name Alegría is not just chosen, Alegría is Spanish and means “joy”. That is what Veerle stands for and that also radiates them in this B&B. The street where the B&B is located, is named after a famous plant and herbalist who lived in Mechelen. Flowers are certainly found in and around the B&B. Mechelen is also a interesting place to stay if you want to visit bigger cities like Antwerp, Brussels, Leuven. The fact that the B&B is located near the canal (point 93), the location is also the ideal for cyclists who would like to make a stopover in Mechelen. (we have a free locked bike storage with electricity points to charge your bike) Brussels Airport (Zaventem) is only 11 minutes via direct train from in the airport to Mechelen. After 20 minutes walk from the station, (just follow the canal until the next bridge), you arrive at B&B Alegría.
