Rozemarijn and Pieter welcome you. La Canopée des Arbres which freely translated means the tops of the trees, wants people to enjoy the beautiful and unique environment of a forest edge. Relax, do nothing in the forest garden, enjoy the edge of the pool, a walk, a bike ride, a family trip (Pairi Daiza), a cultural trip (Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels), a culinary trip, everything is possible. La Canopée des Arbres has two accommodations, an apartment that can accommodate 6 people (Juliette), and a room with bathroom that can accommodate 2 people (Anna). Both accommodations have a separate and private entrance. So it is also possible to enjoy them in a group of 8 people. And to book both accommodations together. On request you can also book a relaxing facial treatment, body scrub with magnesium or packing with Dead Sea mud.

Apartment on the top floor of a typical rural house in "Pays de Collines". The apartment is located at the edge of the forest. This gives guests the opportunity to enjoy and relax in peace. This in close contact with the fauna and flora that come with the edge of the forest. Numerous birds, but also deer are daily guests in the spacious forest garden of 6,000 m2. In the garden you can enjoy a shared swimming pool with a unique view of the forest edge, and "Pays de Collines". The garden and the swimming pool are shared with another accomodation on the property. The swimming pool is accessible all year round, and heated between 15/4 and 15/9. The wellness facilities (hot tub and infrared sauna) can be reserved on site. It is a magnesium pool (7mx3.75m). It consists of three parts, a plage (10cm), a plateau (120cm), and a deep part 140cm. The pool is closed with a secure shutter with code. The apartment is completely separated from the main house, and has a separate entrance. Through the entrance with sitting area and desk, which also allows for two beds, you enter the cozy living space. In the living space, you can take a seat in a second sitting area with TV or enjoy an aperitif at the open kitchen island. Meals can be prepared in the fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, oven). The living area also provides a table for 6 people. There is also a storage room, where a baby crib, a baby chair and cleaning products are provided as standard. Following on from the living area, there are two bedrooms, a bathroom with walk-in shower and washing machine, and a separate toilet. 4 of the 6 beds can be set up as a single bed or a double bed. Thus, the apartment can be adapted to the composition of the group of guests. The apartment also has a garage for, safe storage of (electric) bikes, baby carriages and also has a 2 charging points for electric bikes. Outside holiday periods check out before 5pm.

The apartment is located in the folk village of Ellezelles in the heart of Pays Des Collines province of Hainaut. You can depart from the accommodation for a walk. Given its location at the edge of the forest, you can already discover the unique forest bois d'Hubermont on foot. With the (electric) bicycle you can discover the wider region. The region is known for its gastronomy with Les Frères Louise (Guide Michelin 2023), Le Château du Mylord (2 star restaurant), Maison D, Le Vieux Château (1 star restaurant) and offers many other possibilities to enjoy a delicious meal. The apartment has easy access to cities such as Ronse, Oudenaarde, Tournai, Lille Ghent, Antwerp, Bruges, Brussels and the Belgian coastal cities.
