We are Johan & Suzanne and we love the sea and in particular the seaside resort of De Haan! We are therefore proud of our wonderful holiday apartment "Zilverstrand" close to the seafront of De Haan. We enjoy welcoming people with similar interests and are happy to make our apartment available to guests who appreciate the beauty and tranquility that this little paradise has to offer and who want to spend their holidays in this beautiful location.

Quietly located and right on the dike, the Zilverstrand holiday apartment in the luxurious Residence Silverbeach is the ideal base to let yourself be enthralled by the charm of charming De Haan and to enjoy all the good that the "blissful sea" at the Belgian coast has to offer! Holiday apartment Zilverstrand is spacious and light, through the panoramic window and from the south-facing balcony you enjoy a wonderful view over the beautiful buildings of the picturesque neighborhood of the "Concession". The apartment has been completely renovated with sustainable materials and has been decorated with an eye for detail and everything is there to guarantee you a pleasant and comfortable stay close to the sea: from a coffee maker, toaster, microwave oven, dishwasher and washing machine to a free parking space in the underground garage. Up to 4 people can stay overnight: 2 adults in the king-size bed of the "captain's room" with en-suite bathroom and side sea view, and 2 children in the bunk bed of the "sailor cabin" . Children immediately feel like real sailors in this ship's cabin (inside: no window) and will fully enjoy the heated indoor swimming pool.

Apart from its woodland, beach and dunes, De Haan offers you something unique as well: an elegant, historic residential area named the 'Concession'. You will find there no high-rise buildings along dead-straight streets, but pittoresque villas along little lanes winding through a rolling green dune scenery. Silver Beach is centrally located and really beachfront, with the dunes within walking distance at both ends of the beach promenade. Cycling: The Coast cycling route network features 600 kilometres of biking pleasure along the Flemish Coast. Using the cycle route network map adds a new dimension of ease and interest to bicycle riding. ​ Walking: 11 kilometres of beach equal 11 kilometres of walking pleasure or go for a hike through the dunes with the 'Duinbossenwandelroute' . ​Outdoor activities; For you and your children, the beach is a place of adventure and excitement. The park" La Potinière" is also a very leasurely place. Throughout the summer there is no end to the fun, there is something to do every day. From street theatre to children's parties.
