You’ll be able to unwind from a sun-filled day of snorkeling, fishing, diving, or shell hunting in no time at our home away from home. To increase privacy and liven our guest's connection with nature, he property is lined with colorful bougainvillea and other native tropical plants. There is a full bed upstairs, along with a queen sofa bed downstairs, and a queen air mattress if needed. We’ve tried to make your stay as easy as possible. The house boasts 2 full baths both upstairs and down, a brand new washer and dryer, and a fully-loaded kitchen. We have multiple bikes that are ready for guest usage, included with every rental. Hello! My wife Kristin and I came to Caye Caulker for the first time in March of 2022 and fell in love with the island. Of course the snorkeling and diving are great, the food is awesome, and the beer is always cold - but for us it was (and continues to be) the friendliness and inviting nature of the people. When we are not on Caye Caulker we call southwest Florida our home. Although we are off-island, you are in great hands with our good friend Roberto. He's been a Caye Caulker local for almost 13 years now so he can help guide you to whatever activity you are searching for. Have fun during your stay and go slow!

The Coral Casa is about a 15 minute walk from "downtown" where most of the bars, restaurants, and shops are located. For eats we have a few favorites. There is a fantastic French bakery and restaurant, "Suggestion Gourmet", that is basically our neighbor. Also around the corner, our good friend Roberto's wife Ana is the head chef at the "Weezie's Cafe". Weezie's is a local hotel that also provides snorkeling and fishing tours as well. The cafe is quite charming, and they use a ton of ingredients fresh from the Weezie's organic garden. Nothing beats Anna's banana bread, but you really can't order a bad thing from their menu at any time of day. Closer to town is Las Palapas. Here you will spend a few extra dollars, but it's well worth it. It's an excellent atmosphere, slightly away from the center of town. Ask for Tony if he's available. In the heart of town, pretty much adjacent to the basketball court, is Swings. The grilled ANYTHING is phenomenal at Swings, but if it's lobster season you have to go for a whole grilled lobster and two sides for about less than twenty bucks. If you sit at the bar, ask for Tony (different Tony, equally as friendly). You can also travel to the north island to do some exploring. This side of Caye Caulker is much less developed and you might even find a completely deserted beach or two. Head to Blue Zen for the island's nicest beach and a great poolside restaurant called Lotus. If you take the bikes or a golf cart you can use the Split-to-Split ferry ran by our friend Clayto. For only a few dollars you can take the island's least-expensive boat ride. A word of caution though, especially during the rainy season - since this island is less developed that means more mosquitos. Bring bug spray, and go slow!
