Located just 1h30 from Montreal, on the shores of the stunning Lac Ouareau in Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci (bordering St-Donat) in the beautiful Lanaudière region, Le Roselin is a peaceful retreat perfect for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Ideally situated between the Laurentians and Lanaudière, the village of Saint‑Donat welcomes leisure seekers year-round. Over 1,000 km of trails are available for hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, road and mountain biking, as well as snowmobiling and ATV riding. Ski Garceau and Ski La Réserve, plus the Saint‑Donat Golf Club, complete the recreational offerings. The Parc des Pionniers is also a prime spot for a wide variety of outdoor activities throughout the year. For errands, the village of St‑Donat offers shops, groceries, and restaurants just a short drive away. Fishing enthusiasts will love the lake: located in Fishing Zone #9 (permit required), it is home to largemouth and smallmouth bass, perch, and, in some areas, muskie. Le Roselin is also a paradise for snowmobilers, as the trail on the lake connects directly to Trail #33 (access pass available online).
