The essence of Airbnb is hosting, and it doesn't get any better than Paul. The place is a hidden gem! Outdoors, where the beauty lies, there is a HUGE backyard with decks on the water. Other homes are nearby, but it feels very private. There is a tree swing, a porch swing and recliners for you to relax/read and take it all in. There is a canoe, kayak and paddle board. if you are adventurous, you may paddle across the lake and hit private sand dunes/beaches - amazing spot to see a sunrise!Indoors, the space is immaculately clean! There is a bedroom with comfy double bed and a sofa bed in the living room. The washroom is modern. We will definitely come back again, Andrew
I started with Airbnb in 2021, and have been a Superhost every year since then, with a 4.95 star rating, and an average 5 star rating over the past years, as I have optimized the guest stay in response to feedback; my utmost priority is to provide guests with an enjoyable, relaxing, and memorable stay. Many guests have liked that I have thought of many small details for a very "well appointmed" accommodation.
I feel extremely fortunate to live on a "tiny piece of paradise" that I love to share with others. It warms my heart when couples and families share fun, laughter and joy with an experience that a setting like this allows.
The guesthouse, is above my garage, so there will be no other guests than yourselves. The garagee is attached beside the house where I live, but it is a separate feel with separate entrances, divided backyard, etc.
We may cross paths in the driveway, for example, and you may see me on "my" side of the backyard, but I am very respectful of guests' need for privacy.

The pride Paul takes in his place shows in all the details. He was so helpful, accomodating, and responsive. The backyard is gorgeous! I would give him more than 5 stars if I could. Would highly recommend.Brady

1.5 hrs from the GTA, 15 minutes from the 401, close to vineyards, restaurants, wineries, popular sandy beaches and fishing spots. 2.5 kilometers away is a groomed old railway bed that people enjoy walking and biking on, called the Millenium Trail, which spans 48 km from Carrying Place to Picton. In winter, Weller's Bay is popular for ice fishing. Close by Snowmobile trials including the Millenium Trail. Close to Batawa Ski Hill.
This is a quiet residential waterfront neighborhood and as such, partying and excessive noise after 10 PM is not allowed.
If you are bringing a dog or dogs, please only do so if they are not aggressive, well behaved, and controlled, including barking. Of course, all dogs bark, but please only book if your dog(s) do not bark excessively, and if you can have control over that.
The waterfront here is rocks and stones, so watershoes are best.
The road end in a cul de sac, so there is not much traffic.
Guests comment on how quiet and peaceful it is here.
The beautiful sunsets are also a highlight.
