If you have young children, we also have a couple of playgrounds walking distance from the nest. We're just 20 minutes from the airport, Signal Hill, The Rooms with a gallery of local art & a museum dedicated to natural & cultural history. Vibrant downtown St. John's is always a great spot to explore ,with its charming small shops, cosy restaurants, and a few laid-back bars where you can relax and enjoy live music. If your lucky, you might even get the chance to kiss the cod and be''screeched in'' as an honorary Newfoundlander - a one -of -a -kind experience you won't forget. If your in the mood for shopping, the Avalon Mall is only 10-minutes drive away. For dining out, there are several great local restaurants nearby, plus convenient stops like Sobeys, a liquor store, and few charming smaller shops just minutes from the house.
