Established in 2007. The Roses is the largest and longest-running bed and breakfast in downtown St.John's originally established in 1986. It is comprised of two Heritage downtown buildings. Two are attached and open on the top floor. Our cleaners are hotel trained and are the best. Our chef is passionate about creating tasty. Please note breakfast is served from April 15 to October 15th only. We always gave complimentary tea and coffee. We are next door to Coffee Matters which serves tasty inexpensive breakfasts.

The Roses Heritage Inn is located downtown St. John's. It is next door to a popular Coffee House that serves breakfast and walking distance to all downtown attractions including iconic Signal Hill. The views of the Harbour and City are outstanding from the two upper decks and the dining room. The Roses was built as a guest house so all but 2 rooms have well-appointed ensuite bathrooms. The Roses is lovingly maintained and restored with period antiques and an impressive local art collection. We have air conditioning in several rooms, in the halls, and dining room. All the room have windows that open and let the lovely sea breeze in. We have heaters in each room to supplement the central heat so that you are cosy and warm. We take pride in our amazing comfortable bedding with high-end Canadian goose-down comforters and breathable cotton sheets. We apologize in advance if you miss your event as you won' want to leave your bed. The property was built as a merchant guest house in 1904 and has Heritage status in St. John's. It has been lovingly restored and renovated. Our caring dedicated staff serves delicious hot breakfasts (high season).
