I am an IAFF member, mother, wife and vacation rental owner! I currently own two vacation rentals in beautiful British Columbia that I am so grateful to be able to share with guests from all over the world. When I'm not busy hosting, I enjoy exploring new cities - attractions, local events, local food and popular hiking trails. We are a family of four always on the lookout for great stays. Escape the city while enjoying the Tiny Anchor Loft inside Vita Resort. The resort is located on the shores of majestic Okanagan Lake. Canoe Beach and Kin Beach are a two minute walk down the road and include a sandy swimming beach and a playground. Paddlewheel Park is a popular beach, playground, wedding venue and boat launch and is a 15 minute walk away. Other attractions that are within walking distance include: walking/biking trails, disc golf, tennis courts, Marshall Fields (sports fields) and Vernon Pickleball Association's indoor complex. Another popular attraction in Vernon are the orange Neuron e-scooters and e-bikes that are available to rent for your leisurely ride - you can usually find a couple of these rentals parked outside the resort or across the street at the beach (check out our digital guidebook for a discount code). The Rise Golf Course & Vineyard (the only Freddy Couples designed course in Western Canada), Paddlewheel Park + boat launch as well as family friendly Davidson's Orchard are nearby. Ellison Provincial Park is a hidden gem only 10 minutes away, while Kalamalka Provincial Park and the Okanagan Rail Trail are also a short drive across town.
