This glacial lake located in the eastern area of Banff National Park is the longest and deepest lake in the park. If you like ice climbing in the winter, Johnson Canyon is one of many places to go. Our most favor winter sport is downhill ski at the ski resorts of Sunshine, Lake Louise and Kicking Horse with 30, 60, 90 minutes driving distance, respectively. Riding to the top of Sulphur Mountain by Gondola or hiking to the top, you can overview spectacular rocky mountains and the Town of Banff.
