Here at Zen Lakeside Getaway Nova Scotia, we are located right on pristine and private Porters Lake in Digby County, Nova Scotia. We have 2 incredible spaces available for short-term to mid-term rental accommodations. We have the intimate and character rich Dockside Den, and we also have the spacious and bright Sunset Suite. The Dockside Den is right at the water's edge where you can hear the waves lapping up at the shore, only feet away. The Sunset suite has an extraordinary bird’s eye view of the vista, the lake, and the amazing sunsets. Both spaces take advantage of fresh, clean lake breezes along with gorgeous sunsets. Both include full access to our own private beach, water toys such as canoe, kayaks, pedal boat, etc., plus outdoor games, a covered beamed sitting area with stone fireplace, tv, bbq, and so much more. We are just 15 minutes to the historic town of Digby NS, with fantastic whale watching, oceanside hiking, lighthouses, pubs and restaurants, markets, shopping, and more. We are also just minutes from Nova Scotia’s wine country and craft breweries. We are Lisa and Andy and we are originally from Ontario Canada. Soon after falling in love with each other, we fell in love with Nova Scotia. It was love at first site, in both cases. Nova Scotia is like no other, it is so authentic and down to earth, with it's slower paced way of life, breathtaking coastlines, oceans, scenery and nature, and the people are truly amazing! Zen Lakeside Getaway Nova Scotia is located right on pristine Porter's Lake in Digby County and is set in a very private wooded escape. You feel like you are in your own world when you are here. Most amenities are only about 15 minutes away in the town of Digby. There are multiple large grocery stores, a liqueur store, hardware store, great restaurants, fresh seafood markets , the St Johns NB to Digby NS ferry, and so much more. There's plenty of local culture, plus incredible hiking trails, and wineries nearby, along with the Bay of Fundy and St Mary's Bay.
