The old, but very beautifully renovated and modern Walliserhaus Sarazena, stands at the entrance to the authentic mountain village Saas-Grund. The neat holiday house, surrounded by old stables and historical barns, exudes the flair of past times. Certain beams and oven bricks date back to the early 16th century. The holiday apartments in the 3* area are furnished to a high standard and feature cozy balconies or a seating area, as well as free parking spaces. The open view of Mittaghorn and Allalinhorn, imposing and snow-covered at 4000 metres, or of the nearby Bieder Glacier, is staggering. You can find peace and quiet on holiday in this sunny and very quiet location, just a short walk from the nearby forest or the “Weg der Stille” (Path of Silence) with the “Dreifaltigkeitskapelle” (Holy Trinity Chapel).

At Christmas 1992 we welcomed our first guests and have been able to meet many, kind people from all over the world. In winter, sports enthusiasts can get directly back to the house from the Kreuzboden/Hohsaas ski resort. The Ziebel children’s ski lift is also right nearby. Countless hiking trails and trip destinations await you. It is a short walk to various restaurants and all the necessary shops. 30 metres away from the house there is the Tamatten postbus and ski bus stop. It provides quick access free of charge with the citizens’pass to the neighboring mountain villages of the Free Holiday Republic Saas-Fee and its top ski resorts way over 3000 metres above sea level. The citizens pass offers our guests in winter: - PostBus in the entire Saas Valley - Discount on parking in Saas-Fee - Discount on cross-country skiing - Any voluntary reductions from partners (for example Aqua Allalin, museums, etc.) In Summer: - Such as the unrestricted use of 10 cable cars in summer (without Metro Alpin) and the free PostBus in the whole Saas Valley. The citzen pass is integrated in the visitor's tax and is valid from the first night onwards as well as on the arrival or departure day.
