Located in the family-friendly "car-free" mountain village and ski resort of Wengen, with wonderful views across the village towards the mountains beyond from its south-west facing balcony. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station, and there is a lift in the chalet for easy access to the apartment. Located on the north side of the village, with a variety of hiking trails a short distance away leading to a wonderland of nature and stunning Alpine scenery. This penthouse apartment is newly built to a high standard with a luxury feel & quality furnishings. The apartment occupies the top floor of this chalet and is a great space for entertaining and relaxing in its modern open-plan living, dining & kitchen area. Enjoy dining "al fresco" on the balcony or relax and take in the wonderful views over Wengen village towards the surrounding mountains. There are balconies on 3 sides of this apartment from which to enjoy the views from different aspects. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with filter and Nespresso coffee machines, and the dining area is spacious enough for a large group. If you feel like eating out, the nearest restaurants are just a 4 - 5 minute (350m) walk away. The apartment has its own washing machine & dryer in the chalet laundry room on the ground floor and an indoor ski storage locker in the chalet for the private use of guests.

This property is located in Wengen, a stunning alpine village in the heart of the Jungfrau Region. Important: Wengen is a car-free mountain village with no road access. Private vehicles are not allowed. There is no road to drive to Wengen. The only way to access Wengen is by train. Guests must drive to the village of Lauterbrunnen, located in the valley below, where you will find a large multi-storey parking garage next to the Lauterbrunnen train station. You must park your car there for the duration of your stay. From Lauterbrunnen, it’s a 12-minute scenic train ride up the mountain to Wengen. Trains run regularly throughout the day and well into the evening. Once you arrive in Wengen, taxis are available to take you and your luggage to the apartment, if needed.
