This peaceful Chalet offers a relaxing stay for the whole family. The oldest part of the house dates back to 1660, according to research by the preservation of monuments. In the later centuries, other parts were added – as with other houses in the village. The second extension is not dated, the third dates from 1827. The attic was possibly also rebuilt at this time. Traditionally, most houses still have a so-called wash house, in which the laundry used to be washed in a wood-fired wash port. There is one in front of our house too. A major renovation was made in the last century, approximately in the 1940s. In the living room at that time there is a step stove, which bears the year 1941. That was the only heating. During this time up until the 1970s, the village shop was in the house, the entrance was separate into what is now the living room. Up to that time there was no running water, it was fetched from the village well on the street.

In 1980, the parents Annelies and Christian Inäbnit bought the house and renovated it. The last conversion was done in the last three years by Christoph and Markus Inäbnit. The whole house now has underfloor heating, rain showers, steamers and a beautiful combination of antique and modern. From 2022 my Wife and I will run the chalet with lots of love. We warmly welcome our guests to our Bijou and wish them a relaxing stay.
