Chalet Primula Penthouse is a stylish luxury 4-bedroom holiday apartment on 2 levels that couldn't be more convenient! It has both stunning views and a central location just 2 minutes level walk from the train station in the family-friendly “car-free” mountain village and ski resort of Wengen. 4 double bedrooms, accommodating up to 8 people in style and comfort. The spacious master bedroom is on the upper level and has a king-sized bed. All other bedrooms are on the main living level. The large second master bedroom has 2 single beds pushed together to make a king-sized bed (which can be separated). Bedroom 3 has a king-sized bed. Bedroom 4 has 2 single beds (one bed can be folded and stored under the other). All beds are European sizes. There are 2 family bathrooms accessed from the hallway on the main living level. Bathroom 1 has a bathtub with a shower overhead and WC. Bathroom 2 has a walk-in shower and WC. Apartment location - at just a 2-minute (160m) level walk from Wengen train station and supermarket, and a 3 - 4 minute (250m) level walk to the cable car and village ski slopes, access to mountain hiking trails and ski areas is literally on your doorstep! Newly renovated, stylishly furnished and decorated to a high standard. Relax on the sunny southwest-facing balcony with a glass of wine after a day of hiking or skiing, while you marvel at the views of the magnificent Lauterbrunnen valley and surrounding mountains... wonderful! Its open concept living, dining & kitchen area is the perfect gathering place, making it easy to cook, eat, entertain & relax all in one space! This property is located in Wengen, a stunning alpine village in the heart of the Jungfrau Region. Important: Wengen is a car-free mountain village with no road access. Private vehicles are not allowed. There is no road to drive to Wengen. The only way to access Wengen is by train. Guests must drive to the village of Lauterbrunnen, located in the valley below, where you will find a large multi-storey parking garage next to the Lauterbrunnen train station. You must park your car there for the duration of your stay. From Lauterbrunnen, it’s a 12-minute scenic train ride up the mountain to Wengen. Trains run regularly throughout the day and well into the evening. Once you arrive in Wengen, taxis are available to take you and your luggage to the apartment, if needed.
