Guest rooms recently designed for your comfort in an old Geneva farmhouse in activity with typical architecture of the region. Between city and countryside, la Ferme du Lignon is a haven of peace close to the meanders of the Rhone and its greenery, but also the shops of the city of Lignon (Vernier). Buses to Geneva city center, Railway Cornavin, the airport and Palexpo (Geneva Convention center) are a 3-minute walk from the Farm. The Farm, still in business, produces fresh eggs, wine and fresh vegetables. It is also a venue for events such as weddings, banquets or seminars.

Neighborhood info

La Ferme du Lignon remains today a preserved agricultural domain coming from an old domain. Indeed, the district of Lignon was built in the 1960s on a large part of the field of origin of the Farm. The city of Lignon is an urban event by its gigantism and modernism. The main building is over one kilometer long and is one of the longest buildings in the world. There is a school, two churches, a shopping center, a medical center, a sports center, a youth center.. The district is well connected to Geneva and Vernier by bus lines 7, 9, 28 and 51. Forty years after its construction, the State of Geneva classifies the city as a part of the cultural heritage. Architects from all over the world are coming to visit the Lignon and look for inspiration.
