Company information

Monte San Giorgio Camping is a project of the Main dans la Main Foundation. Established in 1998, the foundation is active in various regions of India where it supports multiple projects in favor of needy orphaned children. We have carried out numerous projects, some of which in the Tamil Nadu region where some chilling crimes such as the infanticide of babies are still topical. We have built a village, a school for children with special needs and homes for seriously ill children. To date, we also continue our activities in Switzerland and Italy, with projects to support young people in difficulty.

A typical Ticino Grotto is adjacent to the reception. ★ Swimming pool (closed until 01.06.2022) ★ Nature reserve ★ Suitable for families and children ★ Possibility of carrying out activities with animals in the nearby Ca. Stella ★ Mountain bike trails nearby ★ Hiking trails on Monte San Giorgio Tepee Tent - The Tepee is a traditional Native American tent that can host up to four people. The surface of the tent is 6m in diameter and the ground is made of wood. Glamping Safari Tent - A luxurious Safari Tent in the nature that can host a maximum of two people. The tent is furnished with minimalist style and taste in line with the camping philosophy. A beautiful outdoor terrace with a small table and 4 chairs lets you appreciate the beauty and tranquillity of the place. Toilets and showers are shared. The tent has electricity and light.

Dozens of museums and trails in the surrounding area. Monte San Giorgio Camping is located in a particularly idyllic place surrounded by greenery. A stream and a pond give it a special charm, making it the ideal place to relax and unwind from life in the city. In high season, the swimming pool is ideal for finding some refreshment and the playground is always very popular with the little guests of the campsite.
