A warm welcome to Sérénité Einigen. Here is where simple farmlife, tranquility and style meet. The unique and authentic farmhouse dates from around year 1800. The front faces towards Lake-Thun, offering a stunning view. A carpenter myself, i was lucky to renovate this house during the last almost 20 years. The house is a family property since four generations. Living the fascination for genuine old craftmanship, old elements were brought back to life. This way old handwork is again appreciated and used as an element of interiour. Location: The house is located in the foothills of famous bernese alps "Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau (also known as Top of Europe). Access: Small scenic road called "Höhenstrasse" brings you here either coming from Spiez or Thun. Altitude: 650meters above sealevel. Rather extrovert and an interested swiss male person in their mid fourties, I`m happy to welcome you and being of service. I`ve travelled as much as I could and learned mainly English, French and little Spanish as foreign-languages. Being a profesional carpenter I renovated this place with love, creativity and the help of other competent craftsmen. My credo being a host is "Weniger ist mehr" or "less is more". Getting aware of simple things in life done with awareness lead to fullfillment. I love to have my guests discover chipping wood to make fire. Eventually experiencing simple countrylife can connect you to yourself and nature.
