Nevertheless, the train station, the "Scex" underground car park, grocery stores, boutiques, restaurants, bars, museums, art galleries, Sion theaters, the traditional Friday market of the old town, the castles or a stroll in the vineyards or along the Rhône are all within a few minutes' walk. Sion's old town is steeped in history and has a friendly atmosphere.
