Villa Castagna is a Guesthouse, managed by the owner and staff, located within 6.4 km of Lucerne Station, 6.6 km of KKL Culture and Convention Centre Lucerne and 6 km of Pilates Gondelstation Kriens. The Villa is situated in Kastanienbaum, an exclusive residential area within the Kanton Lucerne, so peaceful and quiet place to sleep heavenly and gives you an absolute relax and holiday feeling. The rooms have fantastic views of the Swiss countryside, mountains and gardens. All rooms have a coffee machine, a flat-screen TV, free WiFi and fitted with bed linen and towels while selected rooms include a balcony and mountain views. The Deluxe Double Room with the famous Mount Pilatus view is a whole upper independent floor with private balcony and a wonderful large terrace with sun loungers, minibar, table and chairs, where you can enjoy every morning without time limit a delightful breakfast. The property is about 10 minutes outside the Lucerne city centre/train station via car and 20 minutes via bus. The bus stop is only a 2-minute walk away from the Villa. There is also a boat station (only 500 m) to go to Lucerne or make the whole lake Vierwaldstättersee tour. Parking places are available for normal cars and motorbikes, free of charge and limited only for guests. Wi-fi is available everywhere and free.

We will do our best to meet your needs during your stay in the Villa. We try to offer our guests a very friendly, helpful and professional stay. We love to communicate, respond to messages and requests, as well as give our guests tips of the various attractions around Lucerne. We provide personalized check-in and check-out when possible. The check-in is only available from 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Guests must setup the time of arrival at lest one hour before, please consider that we do not have a 24 hs reception desk and a person will be waiting for you.

There are tons of nice walking spots up the hills and by the water right by the Villa. The lake is only 500 m from the Villa and there are beautiful free public places to go swimming, make aquatic sports, cycling, or simply enjoy a drink or good food right on the lake. The Chapel Bridge is 7.2 km from the accommodation, while Lion Monument is 7.6 km away. The nearest airport is Zurich Airport, 70 km from the Villa. There are 3 restaurants not far away, within walking distance and much more restaurants just 5-10 minutes with car. We offer only for our guest an authentic Swiss Fondue and Swiss fine wines with stunning views of Mt. Pilatus and the surrounding countryside (weather permitting). We offer also a car tour in our classic VW Käfer cabrio. Reservation is needed.
